High-Precision LRF (Laser Range Finder) with 30km Extended Range
Our laser range finders (LRFs) leverage cutting-edge military technology to precisely measure the distance to a target. These LRFs operate by emitting laser pulses in the SWIR wavelengths toward a target. A receiver then detects the reflected light and calculates the distance with high accuracy based on the time it takes for the light to return.
This weapons-grade LRF offers exceptional accuracy, ranging from 20 to 250 centimeters, and can reach distances of up to 30 kilometers under ideal conditions. The 1530nm solid-state SWIR micro laser delivers short, high-energy pulses with diffraction-limited beam quality and low divergence, ensuring superior range and performance.
LRFs are versatile tools used in various applications, including weapon targeting, advanced tracking, autonomous vehicles, and geo-locking surveillance. Our LRFs feature low-noise, high-efficiency photoreceivers that are specifically designed and optimized for ranging. The custom electronics enhance accuracy while minimizing false reflections and echoes.
Infiniti uses high quality weapons-grade LRFs, however they still suffer from problems and limitations common to the technology that affect all LRFs. For more info, please see our LRF Whitepaper on Ranging Performance.
